Free Slippers!

Ooooh Wednesday was looooooovly! I was treated to a day at the spa with some friends and we wallowed in the lap of luxury like we'd never wallowed before! It was just what I needed and the best birthday present ever! (aside from a puppy)

It was a gorgeous day too...nothing but cloud free blue sky.

No packing, no leaving of anything, no "This is the last time I'll do this". Just a day packed with steam, heat, water, massages, free slippers, great food, bestest friends, loads of conversation...both meaningful and meaningless.

This is the Hilton...the spa is underneath the hotel.
So what did we do? We swam, got massages before lunch, ate sausages and hamburgers for lunch and then steamed, saunaed and hot tubed our way through the afternoon!! Brilliant!
